Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom
My friend Gladys came over on Saturday. She has about eighty-seven times more energy than I do. We had a lot of fun:

My birthday party
The three stooges (er, dachshunds):

Eating a piece of my cake:
Post-cake:

Oscar eating his cake:
Dana, the pied piper, with (left to right) me, Charlie, Gladys, and Oscar:

Charlie, Gladys, and me salivating over Dad's strawberry-frosted Dunkin' Donut (thanks Sarah! -Chloe's Dad):

I didn't realize I would get presents! (Neither did Mom and Dad!) THANK YOU!

First Birthday on February 17th
I'm not sure what a "birthday" is, but I have my first one this Sunday, February 17th. I hope it's a good thing. I know that Mom has ordered a bone shaped "cake" from Three Dog Bakery and I've heard of a party at noon on Sunday. It's all very secretive.
Anyway, it can't be all bad, because I got this really neat card from Grandma Nyland today. The outer envelope was addressed to "Miss Chloe Dog Nyland."

Doggy Day Care update
Although I was sad to see Mom and Dad go this morning, I'm getting along quite well at Camp Bow Wow. Mom has no doubt called to check in on me [Chloe's correct; I have. -Chloe's Mom]
