Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom

My friend Gladys came over on Saturday. She has about eighty-seven times more energy than I do. We had a lot of fun:

I didn't realize I would get presents! (Neither did Mom and Dad!) THANK YOU!

Puppy Party

Today is my first birthday! This is my peanut-mutter cake from Three Dog Bakery:

Several of my friends are coming over today to help me eat it! Mom and Dad will post pictures of my party later this afternoon.

First Birthday on February 17th

I'm not sure what a "birthday" is, but I have my first one this Sunday, February 17th. I hope it's a good thing. I know that Mom has ordered a bone shaped "cake" from Three Dog Bakery and I've heard of a party at noon on Sunday. It's all very secretive. Anyway, it can't be all bad, because I got this really neat card from Grandma Nyland today. The outer envelope was addressed to "Miss Chloe Dog Nyland."

Bath Time!

Mom and Dad finally got wise and realized the kitchen sink was the perfect place to bathe me.
We had a nice long walk out in the snow and ice. Apparently I got a little dirty.

I destroyed the weenie on the right in less than 24 hours. Mom and Dad held on to my first weenie (on the left) for posterity.

As you can see, doggy daycare put me out of commission last night:

The nice ladies who work there told Mom and Dad that I never stood still and got along with the other dogs splendidly.

Doggy Day Care update

Although I was sad to see Mom and Dad go this morning, I'm getting along quite well at Camp Bow Wow. Mom has no doubt called to check in on me [Chloe's correct; I have. -Chloe's Mom]
