I did not get to go to Chicago with Mom and Dad for Mom's birthday, so that meant staying at Doggie Day Care. Which means I have to have a bath when I get home... Fun times!

I'm Two Years Old Today!

Today is my second birthday. I couldn't imagine any better way to spend it than with both my Mom and my Dad. Here's me and Mom! Mom came over and the three of us walked down to Three Dog Bakery together. While there, I picked out a small "pup cake" and some "ruffles."

I Miss My Mom

I don't know the answer to the question of who misses who more, but I miss my Mom a lot...

I miss the funny way she would talk to me.

I miss her cooking; Dad cooks really boring stuff.

I miss how she would let me under the covers at night.

I miss showing off for her when Dad and I play tug of war.

I miss greeting both her and Dad when they came home, first one then the other.

I miss all those things and so much more, but I want her to be happy and I know she will be again.

Dad is spending a lot more time with me. I think he likes me to keep him company and I'm happy to do it. He has promised to update the blog with my adventures, so Mom and all my friends will always know how I'm doing. He does have to go out and get some batteries for the old camera though!

Sad news

For reasons I don't entirely understand, my mommy no longer lives in my home. I don't know who misses the other more - me or her. Here's a picture of us together when I was a lot younger:
