A new study by the University of Pennsylvannia showed that dachshunds are the most aggresive breed of dog.

The study prompted headlines like this one from the Daily Mail:
"Why Sausage dogs are really just four-legged fiends" and this one from the Telegraph:
"Sausage dogs are the most aggressive dogs.".
Man, those Brits just have sausage on the brain.
Anyway, I don't have much to say about this, but I just thought it was weird. Over at the always fun and informative
The Long and Short of It you'll find much more on this story.
I just want to go on record that I've never bitten anyone and the only time I growl is when I'm playing with my Dad. And even then, my tail is wagging.
This quote makes my day: "Known as sausage dogs for their elongated bodies, dachshunds have not, until now, had a fearsome reputation, although they were originally bred to hunt badgers..."
So now I have a "fearsome reputation?" Great, now people are going to cross to the other side of the street when they see me coming.
