Our mealtime ritual

I must stand very very still on this spot of the living room rug until mom or dad asks, "Chloe, are you hungry?" Then I take off for my food bowl!























Sometimes I get so excited that I bolt off right after they say "Chloe." I make sure to hustle right back once I realize I jumped the gun.

Riding in the Car

Mom and Dad went to Paris for a long weekend, so I was in Doggy Daycare. I tried to get them to take me with them since I've read that the French are very tolerant of dogs in cafes and such. It didn't work. Anyhoo, they picked me up last night and I rode home on top of their bags. Are we there yet?

Maybe if I give Mom and Dad the sad eyes they won't go to work today.

Babushka Dachshund

I did not get to go to Chicago with Mom and Dad for Mom's birthday, so that meant staying at Doggie Day Care. Which means I have to have a bath when I get home... Fun times!

I'm Two Years Old Today!

Today is my second birthday. I couldn't imagine any better way to spend it than with both my Mom and my Dad. Here's me and Mom! Mom came over and the three of us walked down to Three Dog Bakery together. While there, I picked out a small "pup cake" and some "ruffles."

Waiting for a sample...Hmmm, what is this? The verdict on the "pup cake?" Delicious!
