I'm in a good mood because a nice little girl came over to play with me tonight, so I decided to strike some poses for Mom. I wish I had been captured with Meira, who at 17 months old was about my height when I stood up like a human would. She was sweet even when she was barking at me.

First Birthday on February 17th
I'm not sure what a "birthday" is, but I have my first one this Sunday, February 17th. I hope it's a good thing. I know that Mom has ordered a bone shaped "cake" from Three Dog Bakery and I've heard of a party at noon on Sunday. It's all very secretive. Anyway, it can't be all bad, because I got this really neat card from Grandma Nyland today. The outer envelope was addressed to "Miss Chloe Dog Nyland."

Doggy Day Care update
Although I was sad to see Mom and Dad go this morning, I'm getting along quite well at Camp Bow Wow. Mom has no doubt called to check in on me [Chloe's correct; I have. -Chloe's Mom]
My Protector
The other day, I was in bed with Dad keeping him company while he was home sick from work. Seymore was burrowed under the covers, although in my defense, I didn't realize it was Seymore. Large lumps that move ever-so-slightly under the covers are really enticing, okay? All of my poking and prodding Seymore really annoyed him, so he emerged and started swatting at me.
Like a bolt of lightening, Toffee rushed in from the other room. She positioned herself so that she shielded me, and started attacking Seymore, who promptly slunk off to the closet.
I have a new favorite kitty!
Check me out - I'm on the internetz
Go here to check me out! I'm with five or six other small/medium dogs.
